Are we in it?
Well I hope so - tomorrow evening I will see the documentation.
Well here are some reviews - sorry I left them in German for they in that language.

Privileged and badly integrated.
They are well educated, make lots of money, don't speak much German, and stay in Switzerland only for a while - so-called 'Expats'. They are an important factor in the Swiss economy, but some criticism has been raised recently: expats enjoy tax benefits, do not integrate well, and live in their own parallel universe.

You must be one of the ones they're talking about;-)
:) clearly.
the tax benefits are give and take, so suisse also enjoy that in other places were diplomatic ties allow. i wonder how well the suisse are intergrating in other places worldwide were they have diplomatic missions or work for international orgs. am sure they catch chinese and swahili much better than some us with german and french :)

Yes, there has been criticism of Expats and our unwillingness to integrate but it has been going on for years. At one time, Switzerland wasn't even a member of the UN despite making trillions from having organisations in and around Geneva. Hypocrisy do I hear?.
Today it's about us being almost tax dodgers. Well why not if it is offered? Surely the question is, why are the Swiss offering it if they don't want the expats? Stop the offer, stop the expats. Simple.
But the truth, as one very nice Swiss lady I recently met stated, is that the Swiss want the money but don't want to make any effort in exchange.
I heard for example that the Commune of Genthoud is happy to have the rich expats but refuses point blank to put anything on their web site in English for them.
I am saddened by these groups with such narrow attitudes and can only hope that things change for all our sakes.
