Fan of Bach?

Hi music lovers

I am planning a short trip to Germany in April, with a focus on Johann Sebastian Bach:

5.4: Arrival in Dresden
6.4: Visiting Dresden and in the evening "The St. John Passion" (BWV 245) by the Czech choir Collegium 1704 (see videos http://www.collegium1704.com/en/multimedia/video.html)
7.4: Visiting Leipzig
8.4: Easter Mass at the Thomaskirche (Bach's church) with organ music. In the evening, concert "Auferstanden": Josquin des Prez and Bach BWV 4 & BWV 236 (http://josquin-projekt.de/konzerte/)
9.4: End of travelling together (I will go to Munich)

None of my friends like classical music so I was planning to go on my own but if a friendly and uncomplicated person wants to join, it would be my pleasure. Please contact my by private message so we can see if we are compatible and then make arrangements.

What a wonderful time you will have.

Consider including Weimar to your Bach pilgrimage at some point. You will really enjoy it and can learn a great deal about Goethe at the same time, if you are interested.

I love classical music and live in Zurich. Let me know if you are ever interested in hearing anything at the opera house or Tonhalle.

It looks that there are some classical music lovers in Zurich. :)

I am relatively new here and I have not been to local opera house or Tonhalle yet. Maybe we should organize and head for some opera/ballet/concert together? :)

I'm frequently going to concerts and I'm also a member of "Theater Club", were I usually can get tickets at quite competitive prices, also for concerts and opera.

I'll let you know when something lovely appears in the programme.

We should create a group!

And then maybe meet once a month for a concert?

I am based in Bern and I don't know so much about Zurich otherwise I would volunteer to be the group admin. But I will definitely come to Zurich :)

I saw there was a group for "culture" in Zurich but the scope is much to broad in my opinion. We should have one for classical music only.

What do you think?
