Fashion brand shops in Geneva
Hello everyone. I am the new member of the cite (sice 26.10.08). When i was looking going throw the list of the shops, i was very much surprised that no one has addet any fashon barand in the list. I have addet some of them and probably i could continue much longer. It was very nice to see long list of the restaurants, but before you go to the restaurant you should look different from how you usualy look. Does it realy mean that people are not interested in fashion, or i wasn't looking in the right place?

Bedrock.. behave.. irenaspalve's only a day-old on Glocals :)

Irenaspalve, you'll have to get used to bedrock's cryptic humor. :satisfied:

If you find a place with fashion at reasonable prices, definitely post them on the city guide.

As for fashion, I rarely ever buy in Geneva. I mean.. have you seen the prices?  I shop in bulk when I'm either back home in the US or on holiday and happen to come across some great sales.  But that's just me.  I'll admit, I despise clothe shopping, and here in Geneva (and London) and most places where people are tall and bigger than me (that's pretty much 98% of the adult population), they don't have many stores carrying pettite size clothes or shoes size US 5 / EU 34 that are 'affordable', thus I don't bother visiting shops here in Geneva.

I thought you only have the main street in Old Town as the shopping spot in Geneva.  I'm sure there are cute boutiques in Carouge but for me who lives on rive droit, getting to Carouge is like crossing another country. :P

Happy posting

I agree that the prices here are higher than anywhere else. I think to add Le Mouton. This is kind of stock out. They have discounts sometimes up to 70% . Try it.

Latest fashion in Geneva. Only drawback: you can't sit for a long time.

And yes! You can freely smoke in restaurants in Geneva...

Now, now, you are all confusing me...

This would be more suitable for work or for dining out?

I agree you can find nice things everywere. Instead of Migros i would recomend H&M.

I've just addet fashon outlet shop called New Mouton. They have french and italian brands.

In Geneva there is three shops. The adresses you can find out under the post.

Casuistic, depend where you work
