Does anyone know anything about a big fire in Lutry on Thursday night? My husband and I were walking the dog about 20:00h when a huge fire started in one of the car parks. We had walked past that same spot only 2-3 minutes before. My husband actually said something like, "Smells like a really bad barbecue around here," but we thought nothing more of it and kept walking. Then we heard a bunch of booms, like fireworks, turned around, and from where we were, it looked like a car had exploded. Flames shot above the trees, and a plume of black smoke soared into the air. It was very disconcerting to think we walked right by it only moments before. 

This morning, I tried to look online for any information about the fire. But I guess I don't know any of the local news sources. (Shame on me for being here 4 months and not having figured that out yet--I've just relied on the weekly good-news paper and not really investigated anything else.) 

So if you happen to know what occured last night, or if you can direct me to a good online local news source, I would appreciate it.
