Good to hear about them not being strict. When you say clean do you mean the professional cleaning or was it acceptable for a simple clean with hoover and mop etc?

Hi Phil,

WHen I moved out from my old flat after 10 years, I also had to clean it but a simple vaccum, mop and wipe over floors, bathroom, cabinet and shelves was fine. I think they just don't want you to leave it dirty. Hope it helps ;)

Yep, been there. Even if they're renovating after you leave, move-out cleaning is usually still required by the contract. It's just a standard thing to ensure the place is left in good condition for the next tenant or the renovation work. So, unfortunately, you'll likely need to do it to fulfill your end of the deal.
