I am in Geneva and not familiar with services in Lausanne so can only suggest a few general things, if that would be of any help.. in case more concrete suggestions don't arrive immediately..

Visit and ask a/local church(es) or call their info ine. They are usually aware of any such groups in the area

 Call into a local community medical centre and ask the social workers, they may be able to give you an address or telephone number.

Call a local psychiatrst office and ask the secretary if she has any info for you,

La Clinique de la Métarie in Nyon treats dependancies and they would probably have some knowledge about resources available in the Lausanne area..

An afterthought as many psychiatrists seem to work without a secretary..

Otherwise call the CHUV psychiatric department and ask the secretary there, she might be able to forward your call to the outpatients dept or other, who could provide info.. 

Google “La Main tendue” in Lausanne for their tel.nos.  They always have at least one person on duty who speaks English and often more.

It’s the local equivalent of the “Sumatrans”.

Thank you everyone who offered help...the kindness of strangers! :)  I did find an Al Anon group in English in Lausanne and wanted to pass that on to anyone else needing support...you can message me for details.

Pity you didn’t specify the type of addiction earlier.  We could have helped straight away as Al Anon have groups in all the major and many minor localities.
