French / Swiss adapter plug?

I just bought an electrical appliance in Annemasse and discovered that the French plug will not fit the Swiss sockets.

Does anyone know if I can buy an adapter somewhere please?

I'm guessing you can also get them at Jumbo (Meyrin), any Coop, any Mediamarkt, and lots of other places.

for future reference, in many cases, if the power cord is not permanently attached, you can get a replacement for about the same price as an adapter. In fact, in the case of computer devices (desktops, laptops, printers, external devices, etc.) there are only 2-3 types for the end and therefore often you'll have a suitable cord already.

Enjoy the bacon sandwich!

@jacqui no no no no no!

well, define "ok".

that third leg makes a difference! it's called grounding. yes, ok, for a sandwich maker, no big deal, but don't do that for your computer or monitor or stereo or TV. Maybe it something bad happens only 1 in a million times, but having proper grounding is a BIG DEAL to expensive electronic equipment.

Please, don't cut off the third leg. Buy a replacement cable or get an adapter. Please.
