What is your policy? Do you erase people from your network? According to which criteria? How do you feel about it?

as a general rule i do not to accept invites from people i've not met, but still do purge some pple who have left geneva and have not logged on for quite sometime, or people i met briefly and have not met/chatted/exchanged emails since then. it's nothing personal, but just keeps my list up to date with active folks in mind. if people want to find me, they can easily find me on the other network through friends of friends. :satisfied:

I am also okay adding folks to F-Network who post far less, or just ask questions... that is, they do participate occasionally. I would ignore someone's F-Network request only if I have never met him or her or something that is internet equivalent (for example, they have zero posts in the forums etc).
The F-Network for me is really a list of convenience: message or fwd something from glocals, send an invite to an event, such initiatives of convenience and nothing more. Yes, things do advance past being on the list of convenience. For such things, we end up exchanging email address etc.
I normally do not delete folks from my lists of convenience. Exception would be when they continue sending me lots of junk mail and I have already urged them to stop (or clean up their computer for virus or some thingy).

I think that I will do a cleanup one of these days, but nothing as radical as JulianT, else my network would go down to... minus 46!
