Just a friendly reminder that this week-end is Orc'Id?e, a gaming convention in Lausanne (we're advertising it everyday at noon on Couleur 3).
I know some GoLers have been scared by the concept of roleplaying in French but:
- there is so much more to the con than rpgs! It's boardgames, party games, miniatures...
- if enough (more than 1) English-speakers want to play an RPG in English on Saturday afternoon, I'll be free from 3 PM to 6PM and will gladly be game master. Just contact me by this week-end, or at the con (I can give you my cell # in private).
- Sunday is especially geared towards newbies. The local boardgame expert brought hundreds of games and is actually a English teacher, so there! I can also GM something on Sunday.
- there will even be a live games of alien-hunting with laser guns on Sunday, though sign-ups start on Saturday. And I guess you don't need to talk much to shoot at monsters. Or make an English-speaking squad!
- for those that speak French, there'll be an improv show on Saturday night.
I'll take any questions, and hope to see many GoLers there.
