Gearheads: Looking for a 2nd set of wheels...

Gang,

I'm looking for a set of winter steelies.  I don't feel like walking into a local shop and paying 120Sfr each for something that should cost half as much (or less).  Anyone know any on-line tire sellers who also carry wheels?

Wouldn't really call myself a "Gearhead" per sé, however I have a set for a small car "175/70/R13s" which, for a small price could be ALL yours.  I think the tyres have only done one season

I don't think 13's would clear my brake hardware.

pneus.ch will ship tires and wheels pre-assembled and balanced (hooray) but I'm wondering about the wheel dimensions.

"5½ x 15  4 x 100.00 x 56.00 ET: 45.00"

5.5 x 15 is the dimension, that's easy.

4x100 is the bolt circle but I'm wondering about the 56... Hub diameter?  45 is the backspacing?

This is a US car, so calling a local Honda dealer would be pointless.

No, 120Sfr for each rim is my fear.  Way too high for an ugly steelie.

My tires, OTOH, will run only 100-120Sfr each.  Yay for little dorkboxes.  Cool

Rich, from what I know, the bolt pattern is brand specific and not country specific. Some brands use imperial and some other use metric. The pattern for all Hondas worldwide should be the same. What size are your summer wheels?

Original wheels are 15x6 with a 55mm offset.  I think these wheels will fit various Honda products spanning 20 years from every country on the planet, especially older Civics.

I'm hoping to maintain a semblance of good handling so I'd like to stay with 195/55-15 if I can.  The standard winter configuration for this car is 175/65 on a 14 inch wheel.
