Bar du Nord, Carouge - over 400 different Whiskies/whisky's from all around the world.
Mr. Pickwicks - decent selection of beer, good burgers, dozen big screen TV for sporting events, Best in town sport viewing, weekend live music, good sunday brunch, and daily happy hour.
Mulligans and Charlie Oneils - Good and friendly service
Brasserie du Molard - decent local on site brewed beer.

Along lines that Dave has mentioned but I like Lady Godiva - good pub food,decent sports TV's etc

The Clubhouse - Great staff, great food, great atmosphere, best value and quality Sunday roasts once a month, all sports shown that they can.
Key and Eagle - Beer taps on tables, best pizzas in town, great tequila selection
Boulevard du Vin - wine, wine and more wine, all top notch and come with apero plates.
Cheval Blanc - Sunday brunch buffet extravaganza!!!!

Apothicaire : Best cocktail in town
Barbershop : unique and so friendly, amazing barman also, expert in flair.
Rooftop : posh, but amazing terrasse with view on the lake
Pickwick : favorit pub in town with a good mention for Mulligans
Vert bouteille : my favorit wine bar. It used to be "Boulevard du vin" but now, it s a bit overrated for me.

Lady Godiva -- the best sports bar (like a 2nd home to many of its customers)
Halles de l'Ile -- good music, great ambiance, decent prices
Arte Cafe (Meyrin) -- good prices and friendly ambiance
