Geneva nightlife vs. Lausanne nightlife

I think the winner is obvious, what with the variety & many more latin bars/clubs (of course i am partial here  ;) ) and the chance that you may not bump into someone you know (not unlike Lausanne).

Still, living near to Lausanne i feel a duty to represent.  So, enlighten me...what are the pluses, minuses, winning/fun bars, lounges, karoke, clubs etc. to go to in Geneva vs. Lausanne. 

To vouche for Geneva or Lausanne here are the basic rules:

  1. You must be my peer (sorry, but a genuine and worthy notation will be that of those my age.  Hope you can understand)
  2. Must not be ranked because of popularity or poshness (since i hate snootyness anyhow) but MUST be ranked in order of general atmosphere, crowd, music, livelyness and your ability to have a genuine good time at the place.
  3. Please...no places full of young teens.

Ok guys...FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!!

LOL, thanks for the private mails...:hehe: some were hysterical.  But in order for this to be a fair fighte between Geneva and Lausanne we need your comments posted on HERE for everyone to see, judge and laugh at too.

...lol love the comment about the greasy dudes, that's SO something i would say!  :laugh:
