How long does it take to get any feedback from Regie? And do they contact you only to confirm you are getting the flat or they also contact you if the answer is negative (so at least you know you need to look further)?

Hey,
my personal experience here in Lausanne is that they get in touch with you only if you get the flat. In case they decide to go for somebody else they do not tell you anything, in some cases they send you back your dossier by mail .

Call them any way, just to make sure. They usually have so many applicants for any one appartments that they don't even bother to inform the unfortunates who did not make the cut.

No, they'll not call you. Some regies attribute a new apt in 2-3 days, but some may take weeks. As hay_ said, calling is the best alternative.
