Once again, after posting for what must be the final time on the "other" website [this after saying twice I would not post there again], the differences in the way people think and act here, and there, are so marked that it is sometimes difficult to believe that those people have a pleasant side to their nature. Thank goodness this website does not have a "groan" button, only a "thanks" button. That in itself speaks volumes. Keep up the good, pleasant, happy, non-vitriolic postings folks!

In my experience, the English Forum has lots of very good and very timely information that often does not appear in other anglophone sources.
All forums occasionally have "vitriolic" postings...you'll see that every once in awhile here...

I have found all members here pleasant and sweet, I have never seen a debate grow heated and feel that all members including confused ones in Zurich simply and politely put for their arguments in an inoffensive manner.
Glocals members are closely vetted to exclude all but the sweetest people.

Thank goodness for that. My computer has asked to be disinfected from all the ETD's (electronically transmitted diseases) it caught from scrolling through that other thread!
