Member Jose inspired us by talking about this idea: GoL volunteer 'expert' members will do non-formal training sessions for interested GoL groups, on their expertise subject. For example: a GoL member who does marketing will do a seminar on marketing, a banker will teach basic finance, etc.
Assuming we crack all the technical details (venue, times, etc), do you think this idea could work?

We can get each of us area of expertise .. and .. doing a informal seminar session, for people interested, could work, especially if we give it a "practical" twist (basic finance = how to live with ur budget and how to manage ur tax declaration)

i would volunteer ( you heard it here first! ) to do an evening session on self-marketing and CV's in today's job market.
most hotels ( movenpick, warwick etc) will give you a conference room
if you guarantee that everyone buys a drink.

I am a Financial adviser wworking with expats in the Geneva region. I would be very interested in hosting a seminar on a theme such as 'how to invest in turbulent times'. Is this something I can set up through Glocals?
