I believe the conditions at flaine (Hte Savoie) are good. It takes . about 45 mns.from the Veyrier douane.

I would recommend Chamonix (Grands-Montets - Argentière) if you are a good skier or Flaine otherwise. For both, you should count with about 1h15 for driving there (from Veyrier).
