"Cheap" and "Switzerlan" usually don't go together...especially in the case of gyms! Though I must say the criteria I was looking for probably differs quite considerably from yours!

Your location says Lausanne, though I thought maybe you're closer to Lausanne than Geneva, but not actaully IN Lausanne (if that makes any sense?). In which case...Atlantide fitness is a really cool place, with really friendly and helpful staff! The cardio space may be a little packed full with equipment though for your tastes! I'm sure there's much cheaper gyms out there, but for me this had a good selection of free weights etc. which some weren't offering (though I doubt you're too bothered by this!).

This said, maybe Lausanne has a better selection of gyms than the Geneva end of the lake!

Silhouette offers a number of gyms across the city.  The prices are resonable by Swiss standards (around 900CHF per annum).

They offer 10% corporate discount...check on their web sites for participating companies.
