Use iMovie, where you can combine photos, videos and music. It is a part of iLife, as is iPhoto, so you should have it.

@ Josh, thanks for the info, i gonna try what u told me... And tell you if it works...

Just a last question, if i scan the pics and put them on jpeg format it can work on iphoto then?

Can you write some comments on each slide? And can you put several type of music according to the style of transition?

Last question, when you transfer your pics on iphoto, where Mac store them on the computer under applications file?

@ Migrantworke, Thank for your reply, yep i have all the ilife set, i just need to explore it a little more...

when you put photos in iPhoto library they are under User/Images/iPhotoLibrary not in the app.

concerning what Josh told you, it is one of the many features Macs offer to end users that make them so "friendly".

but that is a simple way of building a quick slideshow.

if as you say you need different transitions, changing rythm and music ... then you'd better go with iMovie. It will also allow you to write on photos etc easier.

Careful about those scans... they tend to have low quality. use higher resolution as well !

Cheers !

You can use iMovie to make a slideshow from pictures.

You can also use iDVD to make a slideshow picture DVD. :)

@lota (and Celeste) : yes you are right, Zonker is a computer expert and he usually set a computer free help session every Monday at 12:00 at the Starbucks Cornavin (close to the main train station). I can recommend him.
