I don't know if Chanukkah is all about that, but in any case: I do light it. I have a 3 years old kid, and it's very important for me that he sees the traditions. So he sees the menorah and he hears all the stores behind it.
But it's tough for the stories to compete with Scooby Doo and his other favourite shows...
