It was great to receive your messages on here and via text msgs sent from many parts of the world where you've been spending your holidays (France, Florida, Frankfurt, Gva, Israel, Japan, El Salvador,....). Merci, Danke, Toda, Obrigado, Arigato, Gracias, Grazie! Although the drive down to Tuscany last week started out in blizzard conditions especially around Chamonix, by evening, we were cruising along in sunny warm Tuscany  while rest of the week was driving with the rooftop down! I can't wait til swiss catches up to the Italian weather!
and speaking of holidays, thanks to many who helped me with suggestions, finding me telephone #'s while I was on the road, or providing real-time translations of italian road signs!
My apologies for the late reply as I just got back from my holidays last night and I didn't have access to internet. Thank goodness I don't have blackberry (yet)!
Looking forward to catchin up with you all soon:)
ciao - Yumiko
