About time but.......
Why does a thread on International Women's Day begin with a joke usually made by men against women? How disappointing!
On International Women's Day,let's celebrate women - and remember that, according to UK Aid,women globally do 66% of the world's work for 10% of the income and own only 1% of its property. When development agencies want to bring about positive changes in communities, they tend to look to the women as the motor of those changes.
Let's celebrate the postive contribution of women.

Why woud you say it's a sexist joke? Women are a complex and complicated species, and no man understands a woman truly and utterly. We are very different, and I would sure love to be able to send all men in my household to a "living in harmony with women" bootcamp!

That's the old edition! -am waiting for vol 2 and 3 to come out
I don’t understand men, but it doesn’t bother me.
So I’m not ovewr-bothered if they don’t understand me.
Vive la difference, I say!
(But I do miss the attention I used to receive on 8 March.)

I'm waiting for someone to invent the "how to live with women without getting under their skin" bootcamp! (for men)(of course!)

Come on BuzzyBoo! Get over it!
The joke wasn't "made by men" (unless hay has been taking lessons from Jared Leto!) and the reason it's such a large book is because we are complex, complicated, generous, strong, infuriating, divine, sensitive, proud, intelligent, cynical, optimistic, weak, courageous, loving, raging and the most BEAUTIFUL people on the planet.
We can laugh at ourselves more than we can laugh at any man, we can love ourselves more than any man will ever love us and we have the bond of friendship & sisterhood that is the envy of all men.
Plenty of reasons to rejoice International Women's Day - and also the reason why that book is so bloody huge!
