Has anyone ever shared an international moving van ?

I'm moving back to London permanently end August, beginning September to start a brand new life with my family and would like to share some space with another family moving to the UK.  I'm not moving a lot of things, but the things I do want to take are large (x1 sofa bed, x1 2-seat sofa, my computer and screen, x1 flat screen tv and about 6 suitcases and other duffle bags full of clothes, books and other small items).

Has anyone ever had the experience of sharing space in a van with another family?  How did you arrange an amount to pay for the space?  Is there anyone I can share a space with near end August?

There is a company called Overs of Camberley who go regularly backwards and forwards to the UK. You could try giving them a call - they brought over a neighbour's load to the Evian area, so would probably be around your vicinity
