Help Needed with my god mother-to-be acceptance speech

To all Glocals poets & writers out there!

I've recently been asked to be a god mum to my sisters first daughter but unfortunatly cannot attend the ceremony as it's in Oz in a couple of weeks.

I'd like to send a wee poem or note confirming how honoured I am & how I will do my utmost to watch over & love young Hannah (just 3 months old), to be read out on the day.

Sadly i've a bad case of writers block & am having trouble constructing anything meaningful & non-religious, to reflect my sisters laid back/caring attitude.

After reading all the Valentine's Day poems I was hoping someone out there may be inspired to give me some ideas/suggestions?

Here's the best poem writers on glocals: the winners of the glocals Valentine Poem contest.

I suggest you drop some of them a quick email, see if they're up for the challenge.

And if you don't mind a mediocre poem, I myself will be happy to give it a shot.

But you got to give me some material to work with...tell me a bit about the audience, and the subject matter...
