Help for my babies !!

I know this is a long shot but is there anyone out there who would like to care for our 2 x 7 yr old border collies (brother and sister) whilst they await their departure for Australia (they have to stay for 180 days from time of blood test !!). They are both great dogs and just love people. I would come to some arrangement re payment of course but I just don't fancy having them in kennels for such a long period - I have worked out that it would be approx. 4.5 months in duration. If anyone can help I would be immensely grateful. Cheers Jeff

But last time we looked Melbourne was not in New Zealand.

Has it also been relocated?

You mean NZ ?? No it is always where it was...just far enough away !! Too early to go back to NZ - we will probably retire there tho..

Hello Jeffrey,

My wife and I are interested in helping you out, as we are in the same boat as you. We recently moved to Nyon and had begun the process of bringing our Labrador from Colombia, and we understand what you are going through. We would be willing to host your dogs for at least three months maybe more until our dog arrives since we live in an apartment, and three dogs would be too much. This could give you time to find other arrangements for the duration of the time your dogs need to remain in Switzerland.

We live in Nyon, and our building is surrounded by fields and lots of space for them to go on regular walks and exercise. We have been dog owners all of our lives and would be happy to take care of your babies.

As an option for you in case we can't keep the dogs for the full 4.5 months, I could suggest boarding them in the local SPA of Nyon for the remainder of the time. The SPA is very close to our apartment, and we would be willing to visit them and take them out on walks daily.

If our offer interests you, then we can discuss the matter further at your convenience.

Hi again everyone. It is with much sadness that the move back to Australia for these two has become somewhat problematic and coupled with our anticipated lifestyle change for my wife and myself, (apartment living in Melbourne) we have decided for the good of the dogs that we would like to place them with a loving dog aware family. As previously mentioned they are brother and sister pure bred border collies (with papers) 7 years of age - coming 8 on xmas eve.Both are the most loving and giving dogs and if they had their chance would play all day with anyone !! They are extremely intelligent and very houseproud to boot and a joy to care for !! .. If anyone knows of a friend, relative, neighbor etc who would love two beautiful dogs just let me know. If anyone needs and further info please PM me. Thanks all
