Help maybe...buying a car in France

Morning...


I'm looking for some language help. Having tried and failed to find suitable accommodation in GVA I have given up and decided to exercise my right to live about  6km away, over the border.


Sensible move one might think but not for a non-French speaking bod such as myself. 


Anyway, the upshot of this is that I now need a car, a French car (I have looked into importing a Swiss one and its far toooo much hassle) so I need help. Has anyone got any experience of buying cars over the border? 


Do we have any French speakers who can be bribed/coerced enough to help me with the process? I will provide beer and sweets etc.


Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to read you haven't found a suitable place in Geneva, but living in France shouldn't be a bad experience...it might even help you learn french quicker lol
