"in tow" - bit age-ist that
She'll probably be whooping just as actively as you

Its a spectacular event, but be be prepared for the crowds, cold, accomodation prices, requirement for tickets for city centre. There are lots of ceilidhs going on in hotels also and plenty pubs out of the ticket areas. It all depends where you want to be, how close you want to be to the action.

Ah....you addressed my concerns
. Because the Street Party requires tickets, I'm worried it caters more to kids who don't mind standing around, jammed in like a can of sardines, and vomiting on each other. Obviously we would like to be part of the community celebration but when they say Street Party....do they mean Fete de Geneve or Animal House? Does the Street Party encompass the whole party?
