My old phone (Samsung with a slide function) has decided not to play ball and I have had to replace it.
I have taken some photos on it that I want to keep, does anyone know how I can transfer these photos to my computer?

I usually send myself an mms to my email from my old phone and it functions - Im sure if you can take pictures with your old phone you can also send emails - or mms - instead of sending it to a mobile number you send it to an email address.

well alot of smart phones and samsung phone have memory cards and I hope oyu stored them on a card. If not then I really hope the phone still works. that way you might have the chance that you can read the memmory as a external drive or syncronize with provided samsung sync software of all your data, callender, and contacts. if the phone is not working anymore, maybe its a problem wiht the BIOS and you might beable ot flash the firmware and update it. Or even get support from Samsung website, which is really great. Waht is the model, serial number, etc. If these dont work, go to magicom in Geneva, they might have oother solutions/suggestions. good luck.
oh, if you send photos by mms, it will cost for each transfer CHF 0.50. if you send them as attachements to an email, it will be virtually free. dont send by mms unless that is your only choice and the photos are really important.

I use bluetooth to transfer photos from my mobile phone to my computer - at no cost.
