Could anyone tell me, please how does it work with the address in your permit if you want to rent a single room from someone or sublet a room in a share apartment?
For example, I live in a place A now, but want to move in to a place B and need to change the address in my permit, but it's no longer going to be a place rented by me. How does this work? Anyone?

You have to inform the authorities.
Here is the doc.
You need to join (in addition to your permit) a written (and signed) document by the person who has the lease.
Just realised that you were in Nyon...
You have to notice them by going to the commune office personally.

And what happens next? Do they get taxed or need to pay extra? Or is it already included in the price they will ask me to pay? Yes I am in Nyon for now, but have no idea where I will be from September , but I'd rather ask now, than in August, just ion case. Thank you so so much for you answer.
