Anybody know of a car donation/charity in Switzerland? I have an old car I'd like to donate as it is probably not worth the hassle of selling.

I would recommend that you sign a little paper with the beneficiary, just confirming that you give the car for no consideration and that the beneficiary receives it a that you are relieved from any liability as from the date of transfer (there is a civil liability for an owner of a car in case of accident). You remit the car with the gray card.
You should keep the plates and give them back to the office responsible for car registrations (in Switzerland, the plates go with the owner, not with the car). Then you should announce to your car insurance that you don't own the car anymore.
