Sorry to hear that Guilia. It might be helpful to post a photo of your lock in order to know which tool to take.
Also, it might be good to have a proof that it's your bike in case.

A lot of bike locks are surprisingly easy to break into. As Rena suggests: a photo would be useful, then any of us that may be able to help can send you a private message, so as not to encourage nefarious behaviour amongst others.

Maybe you could get a locksmith instead to hack the lock?
Any cable type and most chains can be cut with bolt cutters quite easily. For the stronger U type lock you can use a car jack

Youtube is your friend. Just type in how to break a Ulock or cable lock, or whatever you have. Then go to the hardware store (Jumbo in Meryn isn't bad, and tram access).

thank you all for the replies.You can trust it's my bike, a very old one that nobody would take or spend money on. I will check with the office of Lost and Found for my keys, before bracking the lock.
