How to ship a motorcycle from Eastern Ontario, Canada

Is anybody moving from Canada and  has place in its container, or do you know how can ship a motorcycle from Ontario to Switzerland?

Wow you must really love your bike !!!  If not indiscrete what make/model is it ?


I guess If i was in your situation it might be worth going to a dealership in Geneva to query about this, they might be able to help you and guide you along the different solutions.

You can actually put into a crate - the same ones used when bikes are delivered to the dealers.  Go ask a dealer for a crate - they must have ones in reasonable shape.


You will also have to drain the fuel.  Check on the specs of the bike first to make sure you can put plates on it - if its a model not sold here you will have heps of problems.


Given the expense and hassles, unless its a rare oldtimer, just sell it in Ont and buy one here.
