Eurostar train from Paris to London? If yes, could you share the experience with me, pleassssse?? The trip is really fast, but I was wondering how it feels like to be inside a tunnel, under water, for a bit more than 2 1/2 hours.....thanks!

I've not taken the Eurostar but used the Eurotunnel by car and there is no impression of being underwater, actually disappointing not to be able to see fish or mermaids . And the time actually underwater is not very long I think about 30 minutes. Unless you suffer from claustrophobia there should be any issue.

Well, I think the worst part of the trip is actually the enquires of the security at Gare du Nord. It really feels like traveling by plane. Although the idea that the tunnel will colapse anytime and drown everyone might be frightening, in reality it just feels like taking a train at night.
It is a really nice trip, just enough to start reading a book and fall asleep.

A long tunnel, nothing special really, I prefer when possible to take the ferry, much more interesting. But for that you will need to be driving.

check in at Gare du Nord in Paris at least 30 minutes before the train departure. I find security checks reassuring, we never know what might happen in a tunnel......
