Ok so i need to buy a TV. The only thing left for the flat to be complete. The problem is that all i know about TVs are that they are big and show stuff :P
So i went to a couple of shops today and got confused with all the specifications. Anyone can translate them for me? And have you got any reccomendations?
My TV must be at most 37" (small living room), LCD, and must be able to connect to my laptop (cannot remember the name of the port sorry is like a serial port but with 15 pins)
I prefer Full HD but if is more than 1200CHF its not worth it HD ready will do.
Any help much appreciated :)

from MediaMarkt and I am really happy with it. I read some reviews about LCD-TVs and based on them I chose that model. One thing you should keep in mind is that 37" you should not watch closer than 2.5 meters. If you want/have to watch from closer distance go for 32".

Thank you so much for your replies. Actually an hour after i posted this i went to shop for something else and came back with a 37" Thomson LCD full HD at 999CHF from Interdiscount.
I will unpack it tonight and see how it goes :)
And no i did not get the something else i will have to go back for that later :P
