I am trying to come up with a few suggestions for my office outing for Christmas this year (yes, I know I am even earlier than the UK shops but need to get approvals etc..) Would anyone have any suggestions that are not just your ordinary out for a slap up meal at the local bistrot. It would be nice to do something different for once, maybe even something with a team activity in the afternoon before a dinner. Grateful for any help.

An Easter Egg hunt.
You could do a cooking course, i.e. make your own food and then eat it. There's a school in Divonne (website), though I'm not sure if they can do it in English (if that's a concern).
A casino night could be fun if your company approves it; some casinos can offer special programs for companies (though the ones around Geneva aren't great, Montreux is better).
Wine tasting could be an option; check the wine specialty shop in Ferney (at the zone artisanal close to the Carrefour); they offer testing sessions in a nearby hotel.
And then there are the 'standard' options: karting, paint ball, laser game, bowling ...
