Hi everybody,
I'd be a great to exchange ideas in the forum on how to furnish the flat.
When it comes to decorating, furniture,etc.. everybody needs suggestions.
This is my "problem":
I've just bought a wooden 4 door wordrobe ALL WHITE with a full size mirror on the two central doors.
the walls are also white and I just feel my room will look like an hospital.
Any ideas on how to bring the colors down (can t pain the walls) or what other colors match with white?
How about a big paint reflecting on the mirror? but what colour?
p.s. I also bought a white drawer (..it was cheap!)
..wasn t sure where to post this thread
cheers

i'm sure coming up with some ideas here would be good or maybe you can host a decorating night? otherwise for some ideas, i recommend a website called apartment therapy where they give lots of suggestions on what to do to liven up an apartment. good luck.

Can you paint the dresser? I did that for an old wooden dresser we have and it really changed its look.
Another option is to bring in color with large prints or tapestries hung on the walls, brightly colored decorations, rugs, pillows, etc. Since your base color is white, any other color goes. You truly have a "blank canvas" so you can have all sorts of fun with it. =)
Can you go to a bookstore or magazine stand and just look through home decor magazines? You may find ideas for what to do to bring that color into your room.
