And I'd head of to Venus, were a day lasts for 243 Earth days, and partyyyyyyy!

Probably in the intensive care unit of a hospital

I think mine would be full of naughty foods, surrounded by friends and family, then fireworks followed by a bandstand kiss in the rain of some unfrtunate boy who happened to be passing....

either that or a buckfast drinking session and lots of class a drugs...

What I read here is all about " Me ". Maybe we should think about the people we love, its' also the last day for them to have me.

I think I will bring my love up to the airplane, fly back to my hometown ( won't take 24 hours, but can do a lot of things on the airplane), have a nice dinner with my parents and my love, talk what I did these years, spend time with them. At least someone will remember my last day after all.

Only 24 hours to live?

I'd figure out a way to die after 23 hours, in the throes of ecstasy, veins heavy with illicit intoxicants and hallucinogens, while her best friend laments my passing.  Any other way would be a waste of a good life.

Just sayin'.

So when some "fortuneteller" tells us that we all are going to die tomorrow, it seems that I´ll be surrounded by drunk and high people... oh my... I think I need a drink now...

I've been impressed by what one of the eldest associates of my bank had to say for his retiring speech. Let's call it maybe a word of the wise and experienced but it's so true: "We all die the same and we all disappear from the face of this planet we call home. The only difference between us in this world is the way we lived our lives, the way we changed ourselves over the years and the way we changed other people's lives over our lifetime."

Not everyone is brilliant to earn a Noble prize, not everyone has the heart to be the next Mother Theresa or the next Pope but the feelings of love and friendship we leave in our friends', families, lovers and loved ones hearts is what makes the difference. 

I would totally spend my whole last day on Earth, in this life or the next by the side of loved ones, family,friends, whoever and wherever they may be. We are not represented by our fortnues, our careers, our party mode (on or off) but by the mere memories and feelings we leave in our friends' or family's hearts. 

My 5 cents for the evening. Promisse we'll have some beers guys next time we cross paths downtown !

Spend time whit my family, have great party whit my friends and for end of the day I would tell to my friend who I know for last 4 years that I have loved him from the first day on! :)

I will spend the rest of it with my family...  I will talk to all of them and tell them how much I appreciate  everything that they have done for me and to how much I love them all..I would like to loose my least breath holding the hands of my husband and my son.

it's a bit disapointing to hear someone asking what if you had one day to live knowing that there are so many people on earth that only live 1 day.

I've read the replies and my impression is that the suggestions that are made are an intensification of what we already do everyday : trying to fill ourselves with distractions and consolations (drinking, entertainment, relationships...) not to face ourselves and feel our emptiness.

I am not sure that one who knows he/she's going to die soon would remain interested by these, because the proximity of death makes it really difficult to go on cheating yourself.

If I had only one day to live, I'd make a list of my shameful mistakes and try to apologize for them from the people I might have hurt; I'd meet everyone that matters to me to tell them I love them and why they are dear to me, what makes them special persons (family+friends); I'd go for as many "fondant au chocolat" as possible; I'd take my favorite book to read some of my favorite sentences one last time; then I'll dress nicely, brush my hair, some perfume and light make-up and go to bed, lie down with a bouquet of flowers in my hands crossed on my chest: so death finds me on my best appearance.

Charlie I am just about to post on glocals a sporting event (but I think tickets might be too costly) for a bare knuckle fight between Ferney and any one in the vicinity whose first name is Dave or even looks as if his first name should be Dave.  Otherwise just another boring day in the office

There are many people who would appreciate them a lot e.g. in Africa or South America, so many great projetc which need "just" money to change the world....

Get to the top of the Mont Blanc and watch the sunrise. Its a different show every day.

Take a parapont down.

Sit on that big rock in the middle of the river near my home and watch the pond-skaters for a while. (I will still be outliving most of them)

Stand in a field of sunflowers.

Run around a field with my kids, pretending to be an airoplane....Ok so the youngest is now 22 but they can indulge me one more time.

Be anywhere where I can smell freshly cut hay.

Sit in the absolute silence of the Dome du Goutier and watch the sunset.

Thats a pretty full day so you have to give me a good packed lunch.
