Hi - before I get told off, I'm only looking for advice at the moment!

Any body any experience of selling imported cars? Do you have an idea about where to look, or how much I need to reduce expectations to get interest?

I have 2007 Landrover Discover TDV6 HSE potentially for sale. If it was local, estimate value of about CHF 45 / 50,000? It's now Swiss registered now BUT it's a RHD I brought with me 2 years ago!

Btw - ready to go for the winter, great car, winter tyres, new brakes, low miles, one owner etc etc. A new one will set you back circa 100K. PM me if interested!! :-)

My advice - take it back to the UK and sell it there, at least it will sell. I don't think it will be easy to sell here.

In general I would not advise people to bring a RHD car here for registration unless they were planning to take it back to use again in the UK later.

Agree with Nicolas, but have a look at http://www.autoscout24.ch

2007s start at CHF28900 for LHDs. RHD will reduce the price even further (at least 25%, I guess).

Post an ad and see what happens. You never know. How much would it cost for a UK buyer to fly here and drive it home? A lot less than 25% of the value I'll bet.
