I am relatively new to Geneva just moved from Ireland and was wondering if anybody could help me out. I am looking to do a French course and would anybody know a good one at a reasonable price?
Thanks for your help!!

Hi I have been teaching french for the last 20 years, am a french native, have grown up in NYC, thus am perfectly bilingual. I specialize in finance and economics. I tailor my classes to your needs: conversation (with in situ exercises), reading (in order to pronounce corrctly!) and playful grammar :)) I can teach anywhere in Geneva, any day, any time (from 9 to 4)! We can even work out a discount for group or multiple lessons. Please don t hesitate to contact me:)

Hi,
I am just finishing my second course with IFAGE, and have found them very good.
My classes are towards the DELF (main french speaking) qualification, for this most courses are twice a week 1.5 hours per day, each course is CHF 450.
The next course start date is 2nd week of April so I expect they will be doing the mini test around now

Hi,
I am now in IFAGE, taking intensive French course (every day, 3 hours p/day). I am absolutely satisfied, started from zero and after 3 weeks I am able to speak and understand (not much of course, but still...) and going to the next level. They have test every Thursday at 16-30. It is free.

So not to start a new topic. I need French courses as 1.5 hours per week is not enough (and no motivation at all). Catch is i work irregular hours so cant join a standard class. Any ideas?

I've been a French teacher at Université Populaire de Genève and am now out of work. So if you're interested in getting private lessons for 25.- per hour, then we can start whenever you're ready ;-)

Hi, I would be interested in classes, as well. However, due to my very irregular timetable I cannot attend classes during the weekend. Is there any teacher that would give classes on the weekenc?
Thanks!
Irene

Hello,
As I was saying in my previous note, I've been teaching at the Université Populaire de Genève and I'm now out of work, so if you're interested, I could give you lessons whenever it would fit your busy schedule
, even during week ends. Any idea of what kind of level you are ?
Cost per hour 26 CHF
Kathryn

Hello foolks,
Would'nt you rather favorise a Glocals memeber who will take a personal care of you for a quality training rather than IFAGE, big industry, very un personal, large classes, poor quality and approx. 2 Mio swiss francs subside from the state.
You may contact Linguaviva for high quality in small groups (max. 6 per class) or one to one lessons at your availability and GET SPECIAL Glocals DISCOUNT (022 736 82 80) !

I am in IFAGE. I am going to continue studying there. I shared MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I DO GET GOOD RESULTS there regardless of others cheap and unworthy methods of advertising competitors' school.
Full stop. No more discussion on this post from my side.

Well if someone is interested to get French lesson in daily life, I'd like to teach French in this way :
We go together in some places (pharmacy, bakery, cleaning service or whatever) and ... you'll start practicing your french right away. When we come back we tackle the problems you had, the vocabulary you're missing etc...
If you want to learn French, the smiling way ... Go for it !
I charge 26.-/hour
