Intensive full time language study options.

After 2.5 years of Swiss life.. My french is atrocious. (2 semesters of undergraduate work).. I like to call it, french good enough for a first date!

I graduate in July with my masters in International Relations and as I don't expect to be working right away, I am looking to enroll in a semi part time (15 hours per week) or full time school.  Does anyone have any recommendations? So far I have only looked at the University of Lausanne.

Thank you =)

Hi I have been teaching French for the last 20 years, am a French native, have grown up in NYC, thus am perfectly bilingual.

I tailor my classes to your needs: first lesson is free and is to evaluate your level and show you my method based on internet exercises, paper book exercises, reading, speaking and writing. I mix lots of different technics according to level and needs and my teaching evolves with the student's progress.

I can teach anywhere in Geneva from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Monday to Friday, provided we can access internet or Wifi. Lunch break slots are quite busy.

We can even work out a discount for an upfront payment for group or multiple lessons.

Currently teaching one on ones at a permanent foreign Mission in Geneva.  On-going multi private lessons as well. Numerous references available upon request.

Review on Glocals available following this link:

Hope this appeals to you :)

Hello,

If I were you, I would notice Ecole du Monde in Geneva. 4h per day and there is result! For 2,5 years that I live here, I'm able to write quite well, but talking was, hmmm, so so. Important notice, everybody speaks only on french all time plus all teachers are swiss.

cheers,

Dina

PS I thought about Univercity of Geneva first, but you have to prepare thousands of documents there. Here they provide docs :)

I will look at all of these options thank you!

I may possible remain in school for a sequential masters next year but I will be in geneva the whole time, unlike now.. where I must travel quite alot.. if I do this, I am looking at part time study.. maybe 10 hours per week, but if not, than I want full time.. So far my best option is the University of Lausanne, but as I am looking for  job currently, I think it is best if I remain in the city.
