Internet options suitable for teleworking--6 month period of time

Hello, Does anyone have any suggestions for a provide/plan that would be reliable enough for teleworking which involves a lot of Zoom/Teams meetings online? I am looking into subletting an apartment for 6 months and it doesn't have internet. I am also reluctant to sign a contract as I don't know if I can commit to a year contract.

I have read some negative reviews about some home internet "boxes" through Yallo or Salt that you can use, but perhaps there is one more reliable at a reasonable price?  My current plan (through Mucho) does not have this type of service yet. And I am happy with them, but if there is a good plan which would give me a reliable home connection, I would be open to switching companies.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

Hi,

My personnal experience:

1. A good mobile router (which you can use in the future for other countries): https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/netgear-hotspot-nighthawk-m1-routeurs-7547179 (see characteristics and reviews)

2. A prepaid Sunrise mobile sim: https://www.sunrise.ch/medias/sys_master/Factsheets/Factsheets/h48/hb9/9146161037342/B10-Factsheet-Sunrise-Prepaid-Unlimited-90days-EN.pdf (real unlimited volume of data with 4G+).

With this combo I was getting an average of 200Mbps on download and 150Mbps on upload in Nyon and Geneva.

Since several months i am using this router with Lebara data (sunrise) normal monthly subscription and cancelled my landline internet.

Hope this helps.

K.
