Going with some firends on a holiday this summer, but we actually also want to ski. Is this possible in Switzerland?

The glacier des diablerets is open all summer but the pistes are very tame and after midday the snow is slushy so if unless you are in your national team and have to train, forget it. Otherwise I think Zermatt and Saas Fee are the only other places in CH but again really mornings only. I believe Tignes might have some glacier runs.

The only places around I can see are the following as mentioned by Paul, and a few others: Diablerets (flat), Zermatt, Saas Fee, Tignes, Val d'Isere and Courmayeur (quite flat also).

Les Diablerets (Glacier 3000) opens only in July.
Yet another glacier with summer skiing is Grimentz.
