I am Barr. Koh Thong Hauard (esq).A personal attorney to my late client
Mr. Abdullah A. Rahman who worked with an oil firm here in Malaysia,
Mr. Abdullah A. Rahman is a well known Philanthropist who died along
with his entire family in the Gulf Air Flight Crashes in Persian Gulf

Before his died, he made a Will in my law firm stating that $5.200 000
00M five million Two Hundred Thousand U.S. dollars only) should be
donated to any Philanthropist of our choice outside Malaysia
(Overseas.) My chambers conducted a random draw which was supervised by
the Ministry of justice, the bank where the money was deposited by my
late client Mr Abdullah A. Rahman demanded from me to confirm the
beneficiary to this fund for the claim of the said fund as stated to
this (WILL) but no name has giving yet. I am particularly interested in
securing this money from the Bank but i will need somebody outside to
stand as the Beneficiary for the claim as requested from me by the bank
where the money was deposited that is why i have contacted you if you
will be interested, because they have issued a notice instructing my
chamber to produce the beneficiary of this Will within three weeks or
else the money will be credited to the Government treasury as per law
here in my country Malaysia. If you are interested to make this
business with me, urgently respond to me so that i can indicate you on
what to do to enable this opportunity acheived.



It is my utmost desire to execute this Will of my late client.

This is INDEED SILLY !Please tell me why a thread is started as if it were a matter of
national security.First of all no one on earth (at least no one I know of) would
respond to such a messageand second - SIMPLY REPORT IT by clicking REPORT
or ABUSE on your email system.
- The danger is exactly = 0 with this
message.

2 security tips:1) For your email make sure to have it open
messages in PLAIN TEXT not HTML.2) If you have a good anti-virus/firewall you
should be warned about Phishing links from Spam emails. (In other
words: You get a message in your email and you click the link. The connecting page is in fact A
FAKE SITE that acts or tries to act as if it was a real one - another danger is that such sites can
actually give you spyware!).

What is the glocals user name of the person who sent you that
email?
All:
We work real hard to
prevent such scammers from attacking glocals, and we block most of them before they can get
into the site. But something they do get in, and send their crap
around. 
If
you get something you think is scam, pls report it to admin
immediately. 
There's a 'report spam' button on
every inbox screen on
glocals.com.

I started this thread because I've received this message in my Glocals mailbox ..and I DID report it!  That's the first thing I did, by the way...I even stated that earlier, I see you didn't notice....
Surely people out there are not nearly as intelligent as you are or there wouldn't be any scams such as this...and oddly enough many of them work, unfortunately, because there ARE gullible people out there and it's simply narrow-minded to think there aren't.

 I get these kinds of mail quite often and I sometimes ignore them or depending on the mood they put me in, I send them a very insulting letter and ask them to keep the money as inheritance for their own children. They've never responded so far.

I hate scammers with a passion, so much so that the second thing I did, after reporting it, was to let everyone else know....this passion led me to be forgetful in letting people know, initially, that it was from my Glocals mailbox...I just wrote "e-mail" which was not specific.
Glocals is a fine site, and it's not their fault, of course, and I felt the need for others to know...as it makes me so mad when the young and innocent..or gullible, or anyone for that matter to become a victim.

 The last one I recieved was actually sent through my glocals mailbox. I recieved a response to an ad I had posted for apartmen, and this response had nothing to do with my ad but rather using it to scam me. Their stories seem so farfetched and unreal but it's true that unfortunately some poeple do fall victims to these scammers. I do not think though that it's meerely out of vulnerability, most likely out of greed.....but well, that's just what I think. I hate the scammers too and wish to meet one in person to actually take care of them myself..but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
