JVC Video Camera - HELP!

Who has an idea how to transfer my JVC video tapes (cassettes) onto a computer, USB stick or CD Rom??? My old JVC camera (800x digital zoom) stopped working for good and repairing it or getting a new, compatible one costs a fortune.


How can I save the content of my cassettes which contain hours of wonderful time with friends and family? All ideas welcome! Thanks a lot to everyone!!!

I know of a person who does that. 20CHF per casette to transfer to DVD. Interested?
