Kids : how to entertain? (share ideas)

Hello parents!

We have kids from 5 to 10 years. All weekends we are active, but no ideas anymore what to do...

I will be thankful if you share your information.

What I know and can be interesting:

1. Museum of chocolat http://cailler.ch

2. Aquapark http://www.aquaparc.ch

3. Interactive museum www.espace-des-inventions.ch

Some places else, but is anybody interested?..

Julian,

I knew you would chime in on this one! Why did you not mention cave exporation ;) BTW, main (touristic) cave in Vallorbe is a great thing to do with kids!

Is Montchoisi good? We usually go skating to Malley with my daughter. She loves to switch between outdoor rink (sunny) and indoor (better ice). Let's coordinate next time!

Elena,

My 7 year old daughter also loves to visit castles all around here (especially Gruyere), the zoo at Servion (small but you see animals very close - go at feeding time), butterfly place Papilorama at Kerzers (combine with a visit of Murten). Many, many more things! Look out also for events with kids on glocals posted by Julian (I will post some too in the future).

Good luck and happy holidays!

Vlad.

The book "Know it all Passport" has tons of ideas for children in the Geneva region.Calendar at www.knowitall.ch.It is very well organized and fact-checked every 2 yrs. with a new edition.

I do home visits for arts and crafts also.*Expressions Lane Art" on Facebook.

There is a French speaking studio called Createliers near the Lake, Navigation that I have always found looks nice.

Hi Elena,

I would recommend a kids dance class :) I went with a friend's nephew (age 4) to a dedicated kids dance class and it was great to see how the little once progress in just one hour! on top it's super useful cause they learn how to move, coordinate their body, get the rhythm etc. let me know if you are interested. The girl teaching is super cool, the class is for kids agend 3-6 (i think).
