Hey Salva, 

Literally just arrived in Geneva and am a keen kitesurfer. Is there enough wind on the lake, I've heard rumours it's banned but people go anyway? How does it work here? 

I'm guessing summer is a better time? 

I'd be open for a few kite sessions and some beers when it warms up a bit (I'm from Australia so this weather is way too cold for me).

Hey, it all depends if i manage to get on the board or not this weekend. I am going to Silvaplana for courses. I have planned also the weekend 15-16 for Beauduc with a friend (if i find an instructor and if there is wind). I will let you know on monday if i can join you. Would love to :D

What about transport and accomodation? I can sleep in my tent on the beach :D

Hi David, that sounds great :D. If the wind is ok next weekend (15-16) i will pretty sure go to beauduc. am looking for an instructor now, but if i can't find one i will figure something out. If you are interested to join me i have another friend who might come as well. we can make a group and maybe rent a car. i will get back to you on monday when i return from silvaplana.

Hi guys, just got back from Silvaplana. Good weather on sat but rain afterwards.

So me and my friend decided to go to Lake Como this weekend. The weather forecast looks awesome. We will rent a car and leave from Bern (not sure if friday evening or saturday morning). So let me know if anyone is interested in joining us.

For the weekend 22-23 i will go back to Silvaplana. If anyone is interested to join let me know.

Still have the weekend 29-30 free for Beauduc maybe.

Are you sure for the forecast for the Lake of Como?? To me Beauduc seems more promising!!

Well, last weekend (15-16 june) the wind forecast was really bad for Como, but it was sunny and hot. so you had really nice thermal winds after lunch. we were on the lake both days until 5-6 a'clock.

In two weeks even if it won't be for the whole day, i think you will have for sure at least 3h of good thermal wind. I love the fact that you are alone in the middle of the lake and don't have to worry about other kitesurfers or the land (maybe the occasional boat). and also you have the instructor with the boat who will help you out if you can't relaunch the kite. And it's so much closer and the scenery is also very beautiful :) 

I will be in Silvaplana next weekend (22-23 june). There will be a chance of wind only on saturday though...sunday will be rainy...
