LICA UN - income tax for French

Hi,


I got offered a LICA contract by the UN. I asked the HR several questions but they could not answer them. Any chance you could help me?


1) I'm French. If I live in France, where will I pay the taxes? Same question if I live in Switzerland?


2) I tried the simulators but the results I got were different. So any idea on the rate for a single person will be if the taxes are paid in France, if they are paid in Switzerland?

Hi, typically You will pay geneva taxes even if you live in France as the French and the canton of Geneva have a tax agreement.


also you will pay 10 percent of your salary to the French for health insurance unless you choose a Swiss scheme...
