I work for MountainDayz, a startup offering discount ski passes and we are looking for places to legally put up flyers or give handouts. I know there were strict regulations regarding this when I worked in Manhattan and I don't want us to get fined etc.
Does anyone know of places its ok or any of the rules regarding this? We are Geneva based but the resorts are all over Switzerland so recommendations for any city would be appreciated.

You can't hang them up anywhere outside, so you have to rely on indoor places where you can find your potential customers.
Try expat hangouts such as Pickwick's, Clubhouse and Godiva. Several have a section where you can hang up stuff. You can check at universities if that suits your business, although they may not accept postings from companies that are not related to the university.
