there have been some major liquidation sales going on recently in the boutique shops in Place des Bergues (next to the Four Seasons / Hotel des Bergues).
there was one shop that was selling brand name clothing for rock bottom prices. well that one already shut down last wk, but I now see another store in the same square block liquidating their stock, including men's valentino sweaters (jumpers if you're English) and ladies handbags & lingeries. I figure Christmas is 2.5months away, and I know not everyone is immuned to this financial downturn.
