Try BCBG next to Bon Genie in Molard. They have a large evening dress collection in the back. The prices are decent too.

Also, Mango in Bon Genie (3rd of 4th floor I think) has a few evening dresses you could check out.

Lastly, I've always wanted to hit the little Boutiques in Carouge. Never got the chance but there are plenty of cute stores in the small side streets. Let me know if you have any luck there.

Hm, it's always a bit difficult to know what "not expensive" means.... opinions can differ a lot depending on your income.

123 at La Praille has some very nice dresses. Prices turn around 200 CHF. And if you want to take advantage of the low Euro, go to 123 at Centre Etrembieres (Annemasse).

Look on Ricardo.ch...... just put in on the top left-hand side "Versace", or "Louis Vuiton" etc. and see what they come up with. Always a super place to shop even if you do have to fetch it. We collected a beautiful Tibetan carpet yesterday outside Luzern, but only paid CHF2.-- = bargain, even if one has to factor in the cost of fuel.

If you buy at ricardo or ebay, you never know if you get a fake.

And the fakes usually turn out to be more expensive but worth less than the alternatives discussed in this thread...

It's easy to find dress, shoes and clutchs definitely for wedding in Karen Millen at Rive. It's quite expensive but now they've got sales :-)
