Just a friendly suggestion, you should look in classified, as the forums are not for job hunting.

Do not want to sound negative but maybe you should first understand that 3rd country nationals are only hired in Switzerland if a Swiss or EU/EFTA state employee is not available.

You can guess that there are many Swiss / EU/EFTA massage therapists and also web designers who are looking to work in Switzerland  (eligible to work in Switzerland)

Anyhow, in many cases web design jobs are outsourced to low cost countries....this is how the market works.

Also, Switzerland is not famours for its flexibility regarding qualifications / profession.

You are either qualified to do massage therapy or you are a web designer.

Ps. Besides if you learnt engineering, it is really weird that you want to do massage therapy or web design. You should start working in your field and that would give you long term opporunities in many countries. engineering is one of the most recruited diploma these days.

Hello Reka

Thanks a ton for the information..

I have a Master's degree in IT in e-business from Geneva only.. and also worked for an Ayurveda Centre as a massage / treatment therapist during my studies in Switzerland as I have diploma for the same too..

As per my knowledge Ayurveda therapist are in demand now a days this is the reason I have mentioned this before Web designing as there is a lot of competition in web designing and everyone is a web designer now a days..

I am qualified in both stream..

Thanks for sharing the link..

Hello,

Reka is quite right stating that 3rd country nationals are only hired in Switzerland if a Swiss or EU/EFTA state employee is not available.

I had to wait 6 months prior to obtaining my residence and work permit requested by my first employer in Switzerland, an academic institution. It had to prove that despite advertising in Switzerland and in various European newspapers/websites, it had not been able to find the desired candidate.
